The APL Character Key Set
Growing up, I was surrounded by this odd monster of a language with it's own character keyset called APL (Yes, that is short for A Programming Language). The beauty of the language is that you could do more with less characters. The problem was that you have to have read some weird martian language and change all your computers so their keys did strange and unnatural things.
